I recently had the opportunity to join my longtime mentor, Delores Naskrent on her podcast -
The Creative Jugglejoy Podcast.

I first discovered Delores through Skillshare and eventually participated in nearly every challenge she offered — including her “5 Cards in 5 Days” series, which encouraged experimentation and growth. She has been a steady influence in my creative life, modeling both technical excellence and generous teaching through her art school.

Our conversation explored what it looks like to build a creative business while living a very full life — working full time, tending home, and choosing to rise early or stay up late to create something meaningful. It was a structured conversation that felt natural and deeply encouraging.

Though I was nervous going in, Delores has always had a way of putting her students at ease, and by the end I felt grateful to share not just my work, but the heart behind it. My hope is that listeners hear what matters most to me —
that this art is not manufactured; it is made.
