About City Mouse Art

Hi, I'm Mouse.
🐭

Welcome to City Mouse Art.

I grew up surrounded by creative women. My mom, my grandmother, my aunts, all of the women in my family, they were always making something. Whether they were crocheting, baking, tending gardens, developing photographs, quilting, or preparing meals for the people they loved, they taught me that handmade things carry love in a way that mass-produced things never can.

That quiet way of creating has stayed with me throughout my life.

As a lifelong city mouse, life eventually led me to fields, gardens, and quiet country roads. There, I rediscovered the beauty of nature, and over time it found its way into my artwork.

City Mouse Art began with botanical greeting cards, inspired by my belief that a thoughtful card can say what sometimes feels difficult to put into words. But creativity has a way of wandering, and over time the studio has grown along with me.

Today, my work includes botanical art and illustration, greeting cards, surface patterns, fine art, and photography. Some pieces begin with a flower or a photograph, others with a sketch, a color, or simply something beautiful I noticed and wanted to hold onto.

Across all of it, I’m drawn to nature, quiet details, and the small moments that make everyday life feel a little more meaningful.

I hope you find something here that speaks to you, whether it becomes a card sent to someone you care about, a print on your wall, a pattern in your home, or simply something that makes you stop and look for a moment.

Thank you for stopping by and spending a little time with me. I’m glad you’re here.
