Usage & Printing Guide

Whether you're preparing your first printable greeting card or looking for the best print quality, this guide walks you through everything you need to know.

Every design is created with care to help celebrate life's meaningful moments. This guide explains how you may use your purchase and offers a few printing tips to help you achieve the best results.

Resell or redistribute the files in any format.
Upload the artwork to another website, marketplace, or print-on-demand service.
Modify the artwork for resale or commercial purposes.
Claim the artwork as your own.

Purchasing a printable card grants you a license to use the artwork—it does not transfer ownership or copyright.
All artwork remains the intellectual property of City Mouse Art.

Printing Recommendations
For the best results, print your card on 80 lb. (216 gsm) or heavier matte or lightly textured cardstock. A heavier paper creates a sturdier greeting card with a more professional finish.
Whenever possible, select your printer's Best or High Quality print setting for richer color and sharper detail.
Before printing the full design, consider printing a test page on plain paper to confirm sizing and printer alignment.

Printer Settings
For best results:
Print at 100% (Actual Size).
Do not select Fit to Page unless specifically needed for your printer.
Use the highest print quality available.
Ensure paper orientation matches the file.

Different printers may produce slightly different colors depending on calibration and ink.

Cutting & Folding
Trim along the crop marks (if included) using a paper trimmer or craft knife for the cleanest edges.
For a crisp fold, lightly score the center before folding. A scoring tool or bone folder works well, but the back of a butter knife or an empty ballpoint pen can also create a clean fold.

Home or Professional Printing
City Mouse Art printables are designed to print beautifully at home using a quality inkjet or laser printer.
You may also use a local or online professional print service for your own personal copies.
